Stupid ideas forced in imposed GP contract
-Advice and guidance was initially touted
and devised as "help" for a GP in referring, but soon captured by
the architects MacKey, Streeting, requiring a bribe of £33
to encourage highly trained wise knowledgeable GPs to use it (taking time away
from seeing more patients)
Now compulsory, it forces GPs to refer through a new DHSS
Portal (not by email, letter, phone call) a turnstile/gateway/drawbridge
where some Noctor from DHSS rejects the referral back
to the GP-who is at risk from GMC strikeoff, not the secondary
care hospital, or consultant
GP takes all the risk, suffers all the penalties. The
patient does not get their urgent care
